Hello,
I'm using an Access 2000 file (mdb) with a lot of linked
tables to an Informix database. The aim is to use some
queries from several Excel pages and easily mantain them.
The problem is that when I connect my Excel to an Access
query that contains a user defined function in a calculated
field, the ODBC Driver returns an error: function
"myfunction" is not defined in the expression (I don't know
the exact english error sentence in english. Just
translating from spanish).
Obviously, the query uses a linked table and calculates
some values with a user defined function and it works OK if
I open it from Access.
Can somebody tell me how can I fix this? Of course, I would
prefer to mantain the calculated field within the database,
as far as I need it in different excel pages.
Thanks!
