Access Operations when sitting Idle

Hello Folks,

Is there anyway that if no activity has happend (sitting idle) for a period
of time that Access would could automatically close or invoke an event?

yes, there is sample download, and I have successfully used it in several
applications to kick people out after 1 hour of no activity.

I onetime put a time (clock) on a form and ticked the seconds off. The
users asked me to take it off. I think it slowed things down. I'm not
sure if a timerintermal of every minutes or so would make things better.

The link you posted used a interval of 1000 and I remembered my
experience with the users. Mine might have been an anomoly though.

I haven't had any such troubles with similar code. Mind you I set the
interval to five minutes.
