Hi,
I have an access database which stores the meeting room bookings within our
company. We use a report to show room availability and then add the booking
into the access database usign a form. We have recently been upgraded from
lotus notes to outlook, with each room now having its own calendar (15
rooms).
I am wondering what opportunities are now available to link these 2 packages
together to give me a bit more functionality.
For example, when using my access form, I enter the date and time in my
access form, I then choose the room (based on previously running the
availability report) can I modify the drop down list to only show me rooms
available on that date and time based on the outlook calendar?
would it be better to enter the date and time in the form, then click a
button in the access form for it to then show me the availability of all
rooms similar to a group schedule, I enter the appointment in the required
room calendar and it updates my access form?
Any other ideas would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks very much for your time.
