Access Password

I am running Access 2000 on Win XP Pro.

I have several Access databases. On db #1, I set a password and all works
correctly. On db #2, I set a password and it operates correctly when I open
the db. However, when I close the db window, the dialog box requiring a
password appears again. If I click cancel, the dialog box disappears.

How can I keep the password dialog box from appearing on db #2 when the db
window is closed?

Thanks.

Try to have a look at the "On Close" Event of the last form where you usually
quit the application through. It is likely to find that the "On Close" event
trigers the startup of another database causing access to show the password
screen.

Thanks for the suggestion, Hany. I looked at the "On Close" Event. It
doesn't trigger anything.

I made a copy of the database. On the original file, I deleted every object
and found that the problem still occurred. That tells me that there is
probably corruption in the db file.

I created a new db file and imported all objects from the copied db to the
new file. All is OK now.

Thanks again for the help.
