Access 03/WinXP
I have a client whose database will not allow them to:
- open any report in design view from the database window
- generate any autoreport from the database window
- print preview anything (queries, tables)
All command buttons which open reports in preview mode either do nothing or
generate the error "The report action was cancelled."
I created a blank database and a single table with junk data. With the
table open, File - Print Preview simply flashed the screen and then returned
to the table datasheet view.
I have searched through the Access newsgroups as well as Microsoft's website
and have not found anything that assists in resolving this issue. The
client's PC tech has already reinstalled print drivers on all machines; I
have verified that the network printer is set as the default and that
documents can be printed from Excel, Word and other programs. This issue
only exists with Access.
Any suggestions are truly appreciated. Is it simply reinstalling Access?
(If so, should it be a full install or typical?)
