Access Project Access Connection setting

Hi There,

I currently developed an Access project which connects to
MS SQL Server 2000. I have developed a login screen which
validate the username and password for the user against
the security settings on SQL Server, however the
connection properties on the Access project overwrites the
permission on the back-end once the user has successfully
logged in. Is
there anyway I can disable the connection properties
within access and control the connection through code on
the logging screen. Any help is appreaciated !
