The table relationships and code in some of the forms seems to be
incompatible. ie fill out a form and text data is inserted into numeric
table fields.

Does anyone have experience with this template? I have tried using it three
times, modifying some of the code ot source query information for field
values etc, but every method I have tried (including 'vanilla') results in
reports that do not provide clear information.

If you can post a link to the template in question, Gerry, I'll have a look.
My experience with Access templates prior to Access 2007 was not good. Some
of them included very basic errors such as references to non-existent forms,
or an Access 2000 template that used a function that was in fact new in
Access 2002. The situation does seem to have improved lately, though, I
haven't yet come across any such glaringly obvious errors in any of the
Access 2007 templates, but do watch out for their use of append-only memo
fields, which prevent linked tables from being successfully re-linked.
