Access Query or Report Date Range?

I'm trying to create the following summary for each day of the week and for
each category but I'm not sure where to begin... should I use a query or
create a report and how would i get the information to populate for a weeks
date range..

Mail Received 9/15/2008 9/16/2008 9/17/2008 9/18/2008 9/19/2008 Total
Corporate Invoices 0
Expense Reports 0
Port/Manual Invoices 0
Assessments 0
Rail Invoices 0
Truck Invoices 0
Advance Charges 0
TOTAL RECEIVED 0 0 0

When I tried to use that it didn't allow me to line the infomation in rows it
only shows up as columns. What would i need to do differently?

Post sample data.
Post the SQL of the crosstab query you tried.

The crosstable query doesn't list all the fileds as rows down the left side.
A pivot table doesn't seem to work also. Help
