I am having difficulty creating a report. The report is not
displaying/showing any data for a particular control/field.
Here is my scenario information: Access 2003 using 2000 format; SQL Server
2000 Enterprise Edition.
I have an ODBC connection defined using the sa account name. The ODBC
connection test okay.
I am trying to create a report using Access. The report record source is
equal to the linked table. I used the fields list to obtain the controls I
wanted to be displayed on the report. Data is being displayed in all of the
controls/fields with the exception of one. I looked at the linked table
properties for the particular field that is not displaying any data. Access
has defined the field data type of “OLE objectâ€. I examined the
corresponding SQL Server table and field and found the data type to be
“Image.†I understand the actual data is “rich text format file.†What am
I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
