In which direction is the limitation at 10"? Keep in mind that a 0.5 margin on
either side of an 11" wide page leaves you with only 10" of report area, so the
width of your report needs to be 10" in width, or less.

It's being cut off in x-direction (width) I'm working
under the assumption that the width is 17" and the height
is 11" (landscape).

A few things to check:

1) Does the page appear cut off in preview mode? If it does, there may be a
problem with the printer driver.

2) Is the 11X17 page size a custom paper size or selected from a list of sizes
predefined in the printer driver (determined in "File, Page Setup...")? A custom
paper size that large may not be fully supported by the driver.

3) Check your margin settings. Remember that the report width plus the margins
must not exceed the paper width.

4) If this is an older printer/driver, you may need to obtain an updated driver
from the printer manufacturer (often found at a web site provided by the
manufacturer, under "Support" or "Downloads").

There may be other possibilities that I haven't thought of, so if none of these
items seem to you may want to also post your question to one of the newsgroups
dedicated to printing under your windows version, such as:

microsoft.public.win98.printing
microsoft.public.windowsme.printing
microsoft.public.windowsnt.print
microsoft.public.win2000.printing
microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax

The page is cut off in preview mode. The 11X17 page size
is selected from a list of sizes predefined in the printer
drive, e.g. file/page setup. I believe my margins are
okay because Access will warn you when the report width
exceeds the paper size and I'm not getting those
warnings. I'll try getting a new printer driver.

thanks.

I've solved my problem. I had to chage the column width
to 16 on the page setup , columns tab.
thanks again...

Aha! Glad you were able to solve that one without too much trouble.
