Access Reporting_Need to Add a Field to a current report!

I have a proprietary report that I neeed to add a field
to.

The design view in report is greyed out.

Sounds like your application was delivered to you as an MDE file, and,
unfortunately, you cannot change the design of reports in MDE files. You
will likely need to contact the creator of this application to do the
modification for you.
