Dear all,
by problem seems to be based on Windows access rights rather than on Visio
itself, but since it occurs with our Visio application, I am posting it
here.
Visio Version = Visio 2003
Operating System: Windows XP or 2000
We are developing an external application that interacts with Visio via the
Visio Interop Assembly. Our application automatically saves Visio drawings.
Now one of our customers has the following problem: If he does not have
administrator access rights, our application cannot automatically save Visio
drawings on a netword hard disk.
BUT: The user is able to manually(!) save the drawings on the same device
via the Visio menu "File - Save".
So, concerning the access rights there seems to be a difference between
saving a drawing programatically and manually.
Does anybody of you have any idea how to solve this issue? I guess some
access rights have to be set, but I have no idea which ones.
Thanks a lot for any hint and best regards,
Markus
