Access Rights to Report Database

Experts,

I'm trying to work with my IT support person so she can give me access to
Project Server 2007 db. She's gone in the Server thru Management Studio and
added me as a User under Databases\Project Server_Reporting\Security. She
gave db_datareader and datawriter roles but I cannot connect to the db via
SSRS. It gives me a login failed message. where else does she need to add me?

I would recommend having them create a SQL server account with datareader
access to the reporting DB and using that in your report designer.

Thank you Johnathan. We actually had to go under Security-->Logins and add my
credential there. It's working now!!

That is good to hear. When you deploy the report to the report server, be
sure that you set the credentials up on the shared datasource to use a
specific windows or SQL account that has access to read the database tables.
Otherwise, other users will not be able to run the reports.
