I'm using the Office XP Developer Packaging wizard to deploy an Access 2002 application. I deploy it in two versions, one with the Runtime Package for those who do not have Access, and another without the Runtime package. Users with the Runtime package report that after doing the installation they can start the application one time after installation. The next time they try to start it they get an Access Runtime Error. However, if they put the installation CD in the drive, they do not get the error. It would seem to me that the Runtime library was not installed or setup properly. Users who do not get the Runtime Package, have no problems.
Has anyone had similar problems? Are there any suggestions for how to work around this. I have just downloaded Service Pack 1 for XP developer, but do not know if it addresses this problem.
Thank you for your help.
