I have FINALLY managed to get the SP3 update for Office 2000 to run - all
except for the update to the access runtime. I've renamed the acwz*.mde files
as it says to do, I have the original disks, i am running Windows XP. If I
use the Microsoft update site, it is just 'unsuccessful', if I try to run
from the downloaded O2kSp3.exe file I get the message 'Error 1321. The
installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file C

Only other difficulty is it won't download the office xp SP3 it thinks I
need but I think this may only be because I have Word 2002 not the rest of
office xp.
I am the only user of the standalone PC - can anyone help me, please?
