Access save query options

I took over someone else's workstation that has Access 2003 on it. When I
select New query, run it and try to close it, it always asks what to name it
for save and doesn't prompt you wheteher you want to save it or not like my
laptop with Access 20003 does. I have looked at all Options, but can't find
how to change this action. Sometimes I just want to see query results w/o
saving the query. Any suggestions?

Sounds like what happens after issuing DoCmd.SetWarnings False.

although I did not know this was a sticky setting. Try issuing a
DoCmd.Setwarnings True in the immediate window to see if it makes a
difference.

That was it. I ran DoCmd.SetWarnings=True in the Immediate window and now it
prompts you with a Yes/No Save dialog. I couldn't believe this was a sticky
setting either.
