It depends very much on how you design your database and how much info you
want to store. If you store graphics in the database (NOT recommended), the
database will bloat very quickly.

Just to give some examples: one of my client (medium plastics extrusion
company) has a back-end of 23 MB after 4 years (plus 4 MB for the
front-end). Another customer (plastic pipe manufacturer) has a back-end of
30 MB after 6 months (plus a front-end of 12 MB).
