access splash screen

is there a way to replace the splash screen for access
with one of your own. I overheard a discussion about this
once. A couple of guys were talking about ways you can
make access appear totally different, like its not access
at all. Anyone know anything about it?

just curious

thanks,

Put a BMP file with the same name as your database in the same folder as the
database. (i.e.: If your database is MyDB.mdb, and it's in C:\MyDocuments,
put a file MyDB.BMP in that same folder). That will be used instead of the
standard Access splash screen. You can use a variation of this to have no
splash screen: make the BMP one pixel by one pixel, so that it's not
noticable.

While you're at it, you can replace the default Access icon that appears in
the upper left corner of the screen by going to Tools -->
Startup -->Application Icon.

Just make sure the icon is in a location that everyone has access to (like
the folder the database is in).
