Access Sql Server connection

Is it possible to use Access front end Sql Server backend
without the data project. If so where do I find info on
the procedure to set up the configuration.

Yes. You can create a ODBC DSN (Data Source Name) and then link the SQL
Tables to your Access MDB file using the DSN.

Check Windows Help, Access Help or your Access book on ODBC.
