Access stops reasponding when running a make table query

Hello, Has anyone seen this issue and/or know the fix.

I have a 97 database that I converted to Access2000. It
worked fine. Since I updated to MS JET 4.0 SP6, Access
stops responding when I run a make table query. Anyone
know a fix or how to remove the jet 4. Thanks.
