Access to Excel XP 2002 documents

Hello, good morning:
I am using Excel Xp 2002 and when I try to access a document o
the program appears in the screen Installing Excel with Front page
and starts loading the setup procedure.
It asks for the CD, etc.
If I do a direct access to Excel it opens the initial spreadsheet first with
two little windows with the set up procedure, I cancel the two windows
and I have access to Excel normally.
What can I do to take out the setup windows when I access Excel?
