Access to LDAP with VBA

Hi,

I´m not a VBA expert ;-)

We want to get data from a LDAP-Server.

Is it possible to run a perl-script from a VBA-macro,
give the perl-script a searchstring and take from
the macro back text in a variable?

Is there another solution? I got the notice, that
VBA (office2000) has no possibility access a ldap-
server directly.

I would be happy for solutions.
