Access to MS Project 2007 Server from remote locations?

Jay

I am about to test access to our MS Project Server 2007 enviroment from
locations that are remote from the server location and I was looking for some
input?

We have a central cerver located in the US and we have locations in LONDON,
ICELAND, HUNGRY, JAPAN and NEW ZEALAND that will need to access the server
enviroment with the MS Project 2007 client application.

I know that the performane in MSP 2007 is better than with 2003 for remote
access but I assume this will be pushing the envelope?

Any proven resutls or options for this setup?

Thanks in advance for any information.

I would remotely access test machines using RDP. It is inexpensive and very
effective. I can effective access and manage my machines remotely.

I've done some testing between NZ and US over ADSL. Initial ops (open/save)
where quite slow and probably unusable with large projects.

Subsequent ops where satisfactory once the cache was populated.

There are so many permitations to be able to answer this question
effectively. I would recommend trying it in your own environment before
making a decision on TS/Citrix.
