Access to other Microsoft newsgroup

Hi Access gurus,

I am viewing this newgroup via Outlook Express. I would like to access other
Microsoft products (Excel, Mappoint) newsgroup. Would you please suggest me
how to setup the account for this. I'm trying to find on internet but
couldn't find one.

In Outlook Express, click View >> Layout. Check Folder List if it is not
checked. In the folder list on the left side of the Outlook Express
windown, click news.microsoft.com (assuming that is the newsgroup server you
are using). In the main part of the window (on the right) click Newsgroups.
Find the ones you want, click Subscribe after each selection.

For more detail you can locate an Outlook Express newsgroup and post a
question there.

You should be able to view the list of available newsgroups pressing Ctrl+W,
or by right-clicking on the MS news server in your Foldsers pane and
choosing "Newsgroups...". In the newsgroup list you'll see many newsgroups
that Microsoft hosts, among them those whose names start with
"microsoft.public.excel" and "microsoft.public.mappoint". You can select
one and click the "Go to" button to read the newsgroup without subscribing
to it, or you can click the "Subscribe" button to add the newsgroup
permanently to the list of newsgroups under that server in the Folders pane.

Select Tools... Accounts from the OE menu. If you don't already have one,
create a new Account with msnews.microsoft.com as the server. Select Tools...
Newsgroups, and download the newsgroup list if it asks you to do so. Select
and subscribe to whichever Microsoft groups interest you.
