access to Outlook

I have setup a database in Access. In my form design, I want to access
to MS Outlook from Access so I can capture data (email address, recipients
name) to my MS Access DB. Is this possible? If so, Is Outlook my only
email reader? Can I use other third party email readers like AKmail or
Eudora?
