Access to Project View

Don't know if its because its Monday or if I've just ODed on dumb butt pills,
but my client wants all the project managers to be able to see all the
projects in PS in Project View on PWA, including a master that is owned by
the Administrator, yet only see their own projects in Project 2003. I haven't
been able to figure this one out. Is this even possible? I'm assuming its
not, as no combination of rights, groups, holding my mouth right, or
scattering cicken bones on a dirt floor seems to accomplish this.

Thanks

I believe the following steps will solve your PM's reporting needs:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click Admin - Manage users and groups
3. Click the Groups link in the sidepane
4. Select the Project Managers group and click the Modify Group button
5. In the Categories section, select the My Organization category
6. In the Permissions grid of the Categories section, set the following
permissions to Allow:

See Projects in Project Center
See Projects in Project Views

7. Click the Save Changes button

Hope this helps.

Dude, I like so humbly bow to your awesomeness! (Gotta quit hanging around
the kids on the help desk!)

Exactly what I was looking for Dale. Thank you.
