I haven't seen any such info in a clearly locatable source. Last time
I worked with IIF format, which was four or five years ago, it was
very difficult to work with as QB never gave you any error messages
and happily allowed you to import duplicate invoices without telling
you.
I got all my info from the QB help. Possibly their website has some
more info now. And hopefully QB gives you more messages now.
As an alternative though there are utilities which do allow you to do
some conversions between QB and Access. See near the bottom of the
Access Accounting Systems page at my website.
