I am using Navision on MS SQL server 2k. The Navision system uses field
names in SQL the contain characters like . $ / which I have not been able to
access via ODBC connection from Access without Access saying the fields
contain illegal characters upon a link.
The way around this is to build a view and alias the field name eg: [No.] to
[No], but as my access requirements grow, having to build views over the
entire DB is becoming a pain.
Does anyone know of a better way or setting, something, that would allow
unfettered access to this DB?
TIA,
