Access to Windows Live Hotmail account from Entourage

Hi,
I've got an issue with entourage 2008 and my email accounts (@msn.com). When checking for emails, I have a pop up screen error "HTTP error access forbidden - cannot load account - code -18597".
I have found @ support.microsoft.com/kb/884987 the resolution, but cannot execute the commands.
What are the other options to resolve this issue?

I'm having this issue as well and can find no support on microsoft. The article GRC linked to is actually within the context of exchange servers. I'm just trying to set up a simple account from Hotmail in Entourage. This should be extremely easy.

yea same problem here i get this stupid error messager 18597 access is
forbidden. i dont understand why microsoft products wont work together. its
so weird. im searching the forums for any answers ill post back if i find
anything

One Hotmail user getting a -50 error found this helped:

Try creating a new Entourage identity and setting up your email account.
When the email address is verified with the new identity and you receive
your e-mail, then try switching back to the identity that you had a problem
with and check your mail. This solved the problem for me.
