access toolbars

I have created a menu driven database in access 2000 and
have changed the toolbars to simplify for users. For
example the datasheet design toolbar. When I copy the
database to another computer, these customised menus do
not show. I know I can change all the toolbars on the 2nd
computer, but is there an easier way. Thanks

Hi,

the easy way of doing this is if your on the second
computer, create a blank database and import all the
tables, queries, forms etc from the first computer.
When importing, you'll see an "option" button. Then you
can click on toolbars and imports specs. By default these
do not import so once checked you won't have to redesign
your toolbar

Generally, you want to Create NEW toolbars, rather
than modifying the default toolbars

Thanks for the tip Constantinos
I did what you suggested, however the new data base I
imported into still displays all the default toolbars in
access. Maybe I have created the toolbars wrong in the
1st place. For Example I have totally removed the menu
toolbar in the customised database so that users do not
get confused or click where they should not. I have also
modified the Query Desing toolbar so that users can
simply view the search results and then return to the
Main Menu.

Can you suggest anything else. Appreciated Roger
