Access Transaction Rollback causes Recordset cursor loss

B

Bryce Powell

Hi,

I am maintaining an Access 2000 SR-1 database that uses
linked tables to a SQL Server 2000 database. The recordset
of a subform dies when a workspace Rollback method is
called in the main form. Thereafter any code attempt to
access the recordset then gives an "Object invalid or no
longer set." (err# 3420)

KB article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;248968&Product=acc

refers to SR-1 for Office that needs to be installed. I do
have this service pack installed.

What could be causing this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Bryce Powell
