Access upgrade

This might seem dumb, but that's ok.
We bought a new computer in Feb. We had Microsoft works suite as part of the
package. My daughter is going to college and bought office student and
teacher edition. Everything works fine. Now she needs Access. Can I install
the upgrade or do I have to buy the full version? I got zero help from the
Microsoft help pages and about the same from retailers of Microsoft products.

If you do not have a qualifying product on the system (see upgrade
eligibility list) you'll need to purchase a full version.

Works Suite is a qualifying product.
NB, You need to keep the QP cd as this forms part of yr licence, and would
be required for any reinstall.
