Access VB Code - Recommended Books?

K

Kirstie Adam

Hi All,

I have got to a stage where i want to get more knowledgeable about VBA code,
at the moment i am self taught from trial and error, and these newsgroups!

Can anyone recommend a good book for me to start reading more?

I currently work with Access 2000, but have worked with all versions except
2007.

Thanks,

Kirstie

Hi Kirstie,

I found the Access Developer Handbooks very useful. There isn't a 2007
version but it will give you a good inside of the possibilities. And because
it's about older versions you'd find the cheap e.g. at Amazon.com or some
other online bookstore.
(I bought the 200 version a couple of years ago and am still using it
sometimes)

Take a look at http://www.seattleaccess.org/... on the first page, there's a
copy of my review done at Amazon where you can click through to order
"Access 2007 VBA" ... Teresa Henning is also a co-author of "Access 2003
VBA" which you will can also order from Amazon, or your favorite source.

Hi Kirstie,

http://www.functionx.com/vbaccess/ is a fairly good resource for
free. It's well organized by topical area with examples. Is there a
particular area you are venturing into (recordsets, Windows APIs,
etc)?
