Access XP DB corrupt often?

M

Martin

Hi,

I have a front end access XP DB. In the last time this DB is often
corrupted. When I open the DB, the table object list is displayed, then
Access crashes.
ut perhaps only the code fragment (Forms, modules).

When I use a DB Tools, for example over database tool in VB6, I can still
access tables and data (link and true tables) in this database.

When I created a new database and import objects from the corrupted DB, then
the problem repeated.

After repairing, which Access XP offer directly after crashing, the database
is still corrupted, but the repaired DB format is Access 2k.

Is there any known bug?

Thanks
Martin
