Access

Hi

No, there is no plan to have a Macintosh version of Excel. It is a desktop
database application for Windows only. Cross-platform upgrades include
FileMaker Pro among others.

You can connect to an access database mdb file using MS Query and a third
party ODBC driver as long as the database is on a different computer.

OAD/OFFICEX/QueryX.xml&secid=5&ssid=12&flgnosysreq=True

Here's one way to get data into Office X if your Access database can be
Saved As a different file type:

Actually, there is a Macintosh version of Excel. If you need help with it,
you can visit said:

Access is. Excel is a spreadsheet application available on Mac and Windows.

Here's a list of Mac software made by Microsoft:

rsoftware>

This is their statement on Access:
"We do not plan to develop a Mac version of this product at
this time. If customer demand increases significantly, we will
reevaluate our current plans."
