I recently reformatted my hard drive. I'm using XP and I
reinstalled Office 97 Professional Edition. Everything
works except Access. I keep getting the message Microsoft
Access can't start because there is no license for it on
this machine. What happened and what can I do about it.

Try to install Access using the "custom installation"
button in the install set-up. Be sure not to clear any of
the other checkmarks.
