Is there a way to save an Access file onto a CDRW without it being a
read-only? Thank you!

All files recorded to a CD-RW are "read only".
To make changes to the file, copy it back to your
hard drive.

Not necessarily. If you are using a CD-RW then it depends on the
software used when burning the file to the media.

BUT, it's not recommended to use a CD-RW as a 'working' drive. IOW,
the database shouldn't be opened from the CD-RW and modified.

So copying the file back to the hd and change the read-only attribute
if necessary is the best method to use anyway. :)
