Hi,
If your database application runs fine on other computers but not this one
then it's most likely needing some updates. Start with
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=239114
Then get the latest update of Office 2000 (service pack 3) use the Windows
Update site.
After applying all the updates and you still encounter the same problem
trying re-registering the file "DAO360.dll" as follows:
- Via Windows Explorer locate the file "DAO360.dll" (should be within
the \common files\dao)
- With the window still open click Start > Run
- Type regsvr32 followed by a space
- Left click, drag and drop the above found file and place next to above
typed so that it reads:
regsvr32 "<full path to the file DAO360.dll>"
- Click OK (should receive the message "...succeeded...")
I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.
Regards,
Eric Butts

| We are having trouble with Office 2000 which included
| Access. We run a large program in Access and one of the
| computers decided not to run access. I have uninstalled
| and reinstalled several times Office 2000. It will open
| up Access from start program Access to create a new data
| base once. But if you close it, it will not open up again
| until you reboot the computer. Thus, it will not run the
| program needed for our business. Any, ideas what else to
| do to make this computer run access. Thanks
