Access2000: Chart source table is not refreshed

A chart is added into report. The record source is a query. When preview is
used, right data are displayed, but the chart needs a bit editing, while
labels layout is somewhat messy.

In Edit view, the data are from template, and source table too. When real
column names are inserted into table, the source table isn't recalculated
too.

So long the only way to get the source table right, which I have found, is
to activate the query window, reguery, and then copy result table (all
columns). And then activate chart's source table, remove old data, and paste
copied data into it. Is there a better way for this?
