access2000 exports to excel

The knowledge base indicates that there is a known error
exporting totals to excel. The workaround is to export as
an .rtf to word and then cut/paste into excel. Since I
want to merge 25 or so of these individual exports into
excel- that isn't feasible. Any other workarounds?

What are you exporting?

Export the data, including the totals, to a table.
Then export the table to Excel.

PS: I knew there were problems exporting to Excel,
but I didn't know there was KB article. What is the
number?

PPS: Export to RTF sometimes truncates numbers. This
is a known problem...the workaround is to export to
Excel and then cut/paste to Word :( If they don't
get you coming, they get you going.....
