Hi
A year or a bit more ago I created a database (ttm.mdb) and secured it. MS
Access workgroup information file (ttm.mdw) is stored in same directory as
database. Opening database with ttm.mdw as option in command string opens it
according user rights. When opening mdb from access, or from explorer, it's
opened as read-only, and when I open it holding Shift, I see project
explorer, but I can't edit any objects. It's all nice and works perfectly.
Now I don't remember anymore, how exactly I did it. I created a new database
(test.mdb) and tried to secure it, following guidelines from MS Security
FAQ. But I want this security to be applied only to one particular
application. When I restored default workgroup information (system.mdw), I
got unrestricted access to test.mdb too. Not exactly what I want.
I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance
