A setting of "break on all errors" or "break on unhandled errors" in Tools |
Options might do just that.

http://www.mvps.org/access/netiquette.htm -- "Access2000" isn't very good
guidance for someone who is trying to determine without having to open your
post if it is one that he/she _should_ open. "Access 2000 stops in debug
mode without breakpoint" would have been more helpful.
