ACCESS2002 Command Box "Print" Report Macro doesn't work

I put a command button on a form to print a report. The report was under a different name. It doesn't work!

All I get is an error message stating that the database is "locked" and that it is already in use by another. There is no description of this in the knowledge base. I've used ACCESS'97 and this option worked. What happened

Directions to set this up state to make a macro to "open report", then "printout" report. Once these steps have been done, when you click on the command button an error message appears to "halt the macro" and in addition a message box appears stating that one copy of the report is going to be printed, but no printout occurs.

This option worked in ACCESS'97. We type data onto a form and it prints onto a report. Please correct this! We use this a lot.

Waiting to see a response, I'm thanking you.

Macro:

Don't construct your macro to open and then printout the report. Simply use
the OpenReport action specifying print as the view.
