Access97 and Windows2k

Dear all,

I have an Access97 program which runs under windows98, recently I upgraded
my 98 to windows2000, and execute my program - it can execute the program but
the query and some of the report is not working. It simply post that "Runtime
error or object not found etc"

and my colleagues windows98 pc it is working fine.

pls some body can help me

Hi,
probably you use some external libraries or controls, which you have on
win98 and not on win2000. Do you have MDB? try to open references dialog and
inspect references there (open any module, then menu tools-references)

Dear,

I have checked the references and I could see the below listed are checked
VB for application
MS Access 8.0 object library
MS DAO 3.5 Object library
Ms Office 8.0 Object library
Ms Word 8.0 Object library
Office compatible 1.0 type object library

what should I do next?

pls help me

Dear,
Sorry I could not back yesterday because of browser problem.
I have checked Word 97 it is working fine and I remove the Office
compatiblity 1.0 type object - but no luck
pls advise

Open your mdb in access, open any module - try to compile. probably you will
get error there - check wht it will tell you, probably something else
missing
one more thing to check - find DAO350.dll on your PC and register it using
regsvr32.exe
