Hi Eve,
If you cannot open any database (including new databases created) then try
the following:
- Install the latest service pack for the Microsoft JET Database Engine,
see:

- Re-register the file DAO350.dll as outlined in Method #1 of the following
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;177264
- If none of the above help try disabling (or removing) your anti virus
software to see if it's the culprit.
