Access97 shuts down when I design a module

L

Lisa

Acces97 quits without warning when I "design" a (non-
class) module that I created. I cannot export the module
to a text file or to another database without Access
crashing without exporting.

I can import the module from another MSAccess database.
But when I try to design it or print it, etc., Access
again quits and nothing else happens.

If any functions or subs in the module are called, the
Access quits too.

This occurred after using the module code about 5 times.
Each time, the code does call a "shell" to run another
application, and then Access is instructed to quit. I
don't know, but I have a feeling that this is somehow
related.

Thank you to anyone who may respond to my problem.

Hi Lisa

Does this occur only in the one database? Do you get any kind of error message?

You should also try to go into any module and go to Debug / Compile All Modules
to see if you pick up any errors there.

Good luck and keep the group informed on your progress.

Best regards

Maurice
