Access97 Startup User/password Question

I am using Access97 and am new to the program. I created
a database and then went in to try and set security. Now
when I try to start Access it asks for my username and
password. I have tried everything I can think of but
can't open or start Access.
I am using Windows 2000.

Mark,

Did you try using just the user name you created without a
password? When initially setting up a database using the
wizard, the system will create the pop-up window for the
uer name and password but if no password was set up, you
should be able to gain access by using just the user name.

If that doesn't work, try Admin withough a password.
