Access97 w/XP Compatibility

Is Access97 compatible with XP? I've recently upgraded
from ME to XP and Access97 no longer launches (says there
isn't a license). However, I purchased Office97 years
before I purchased XP a few months ago. Before upgrading
to XP, I upgraded to Office2000, but it did not include
Access, so I was hoping to use Access97.

I have the same exact problem. I also had ME and
installed the upgraded XP. (I did not upgrade Office
2000). I still have Office97 and also received the
error "Microsoft Access can't start because there is no
license for it on this machine".

Have you been able to resolve the problem?

Well known problem usually caused by, of all things, a font.
