Access97 XP SendObject

I have just moved an Access 97 application from a Win98
workstation to a WinXP workstation. When I try to use a
SendObject procedure to send an email, XP generates an
error that states that the default email handler is not
functioning. Normal email is functioning fine. Anyone have
any ideas?
