ACCESS97

Using a version of access 97. Attempted to protect a
table. Assigned a password that the system fail to
recognize. Cannot get back into any ACCESS97 programs or
files. Is there a method to return to a non-protected
level so I can gain access back into my program?

When you say you "Assigned a password...", how did you do that?

In the security section unde tools, where you are
prompted for a password and verification is where it was
assigned. However, when I closed out the file and
attempted to go back into the access program, it prompted
me for a username and the Password. The username were
assigned by the system, so I typed in my password, but it
was rejected. I cannot get into the access program or
any of the files. Can't get beyond the password prompt.

If you are getting a prompt for a username and password, then the Admin
User's password has been set. Try logging in as Admin with the password you
created.
